Education for all had been one of the focus advocates of the national government especially that education is a valuable asset for the development of our youth today. With this aim, the local CMS Bohol Team which is mostly composed of members from the National Alliance of Youth Volunteers, Inc. initiated the CheckmySchool Project in Barangay Dampas with the support of the Affiliated Network of Social Accountability in East Asia and Pacific, the one responsible in formulating the CMS Project.

The CMS Project on its 2nd year of implementation aims to widen its scope and coverage of the different areas the project will be conducted. This year, the CMS Bohol Team in partnership with University of Bohol, DepEd Tagbilaran City Division, Barangay and SK officials of Booy initiated the launching, checking and data validation of the CMS Project on Booy Elementary School and Booy South Elementary School last September 22, 2012. The launching program officially started with a parade from Booy South Elementary School to Booy Elementary School wherein volunteers proudly wear their "Proud CMS Volunteer" shirt. The launching program was participated with the different community stakeholders of Booy. During the launching, the barangay captain of Booy showed his sincerest thanks to the implementors of the project and CMS project was discussed thoroughly by Sanie Joel Cagoco, CMS Bohol Coordinator.

The different CMS Volunteers and partner agencies had pledged their support to the project during the CMS Volunteers Pledge Ceremony. Data Validation followed after the launching program. During the data validation, the Tagbilaran City Division represented by Mrs. Marina Salamanca, Division Supervisor, showed its total support in the implementation of the project. Different volunteers took part in the data validation of the aforementioned schools. Different issues and needs of the schools were discovered during the validation activity. Some of the issues found were the need of adequate facilities for clinic and library, new books to replaced the tattered ones and repairs of the different dilapidated buildings.
